If you are going to be using email to communicate with your network you might as well put your email to 'work' and let people know the ways you can help them and their friends.

Okay, this is an example of the power PS, so here you see, I'm going to give you an example of something we do, which is really, really useful. So have a think about how many emails you send out a day, a week, a month, maybe I don't know, you send 20 emails a day, that's 100 a week, maybe 400 a month and we send these emails out to various people and some of these people could be clients, they could be potential referrers, they could be anything, who knows? But anyway, here is an email we send out, we send out a lot as you probably know and at the bottom, so really it should say from Richard Petrie but it's the P I'm interested in here so at the bottom and this is automatically cut-and-paste and inserted into every email I send out now. It's the PS, okay, so whenever you're ready. By the way, did you know the PS is the second most red thing in the letter, the PS. The number one thing is the headline. The second most commonly read thing in a letter is the PS. So yes, you want to have the words PS in here, make it look like a real PS in this case it's been skipped out. I'm going to have to get back to the guys and say make sure it's a PS and my names in there. So do a proper PS. So here's an example I drafted one up earlier for you. Here's what I baked earlier. So just to mention it's got Richard Petrie, architects and then you're going to automatically when you put your signature in you will also automatically cut this type of stuff in, you don't have to do exactly this. So once again, PS, I should pop that, just put that in, PS plus, whenever you're ready, here are four ways I can help you on your next project. So you've got those set up but in some respects it's kind of nice just to hit reply, it's kind of more informal. So this works just as well, maybe better. Number one... Number two, join me for 101. So every system slightly different, so I can't show you how to go in here but I'm sure it will be just a case of going to your thing, finding your preferences and your signature will probably be somewhere in there and I'm not going to go look for now, general, because I'll only embarrass myself by not being able to find it. So you probably know where to find your signature anyway. So that's the strategy, nice and simple, really quick and people will click on it. People will click on it and you will get extra leads that you wouldn't have got before. You might as well, you send those emails out, you might as well be getting money out of them.
