My Life goal…. to build a smallish off grid house including an office – soon. To grow veggies and fruit and have a few chooks for eggs. To nuture a few friendships and create a home that people love to visit. To be able to keep walking. To live cheaply but have enough in reserve to keep me going.
My business: I dream of having a few good clients who pay well. I am not interested in : chasing after numerous small jobs; dealing with abusive people who do not want to pay for a proper service; dealing with abusive disrespectful builders.
My dream client knows the value of good design; knows what effort is takes to get there; is willing to pay me to achieve the effortless look; knows and appreciates the value of orientation and site related design where nature and outside spaces are as important as the inside spaces.

My business needs to generate enough income for me to last a few more years and build that small dream off grid house. I want to improve other peoples lives by creating places that they love.
I love what I do so I do not want to give it up. I don’t want my work to control me… I want to enjoy it as PART of my life and the other things I do.
My 90 day goal is to complete and master this course so that I can get my business running…

(UNCERTAINTY)/VARIETY/FREEDOM – I cannot stay stuck in a rut. I can never do the same things day in and day out – my system rebels!!!
ACHIEVEMENT/SUCCESS – not necessarily glory and fame, – achievement can be overcoming a block, or understanding something new, aquiring a new skill, knowing a client is happy, completing a task on time… these are linked to growth and to making a difference
LOVE/CONNECTION – I cannot do good work without feeling love for my clients.
It is extremely hard not to see my self as a little old lady, who never quite made it, who is broke and who walks with a stick!
A guy who has specialised in BIM training in the past, came to see me recently and he wanted to see what I can do. He said what I showed him is way above what most people are doing and that I sell myself short.
